Britannia, a 138-year-old legacy brand has seen India build itself from strength to strength- from a time when plastic packaging was a novel preservative-friendly invention to now, when India generates ~3.4 million tonnes of plastic waste. and recycles only ~12% of it.
Britannia, the FMCG giant has been 100% plastic-neutral for over 2 years now, and is actively reducing their carbon footprint across operations. But one corporation can only do so much. So on Earth Day, they released a film to urge the masses to join the effort, through the eyes of an 8-year-old. The best part? Zero “money” shots of the product. Just packets and pockets.
